About Me
I'm Lauren Teixeira, a retired Children's Librarian and podcaster. I've devoted my life to storytime! Pre-literacy is a passion for me - let every child grow into a reader and lover of books - is my credo.

I worked as a Children's Librarian for the Santa Clara County Library District from 1995 to 2021 - 26 years of absolute delight!
​
I'm retired from full time work at the library and now enjoying Storytime Seedlings Early Literacy as my latest adventure (along with being a grandmother of three wonderfully cute and silly grandkids - yes that is a blue robot spider belonging to one of my sillies).
